Mr Mehran Jamsheer

Mr Mehran Jamsheer currently holds the position of Director in the Investment Department at Gulf Finance House (GFH). He is primarily in charge of the post acquisition department for some of the bank’s investments which cover a wide variety of different industries in the GCC, Europe and USA. Mr Jamsheer is also a nominee Director for the bank on a number of investments – Balexco BSC, Gulf Coffee House, International Franchise Capital, among others. Mr Jamsheer has adopted various strategies to build up the investment portfolio under review to maximize shareholder value for the investors; these included a combination of continuous monitoring, selective expansions, change in management, asset sales and final exit.

During the course of his employment at BDO Jawad Habib and Arthur Andersen as an audit manager, he had considerable exposure with financial institutions, manufacturing and trading companies, hotel industry and construction companies on audit, review of internal control and valuation assignments.

Mr Jamsheer, a Bahraini national, is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Bahrain.
