Dr. Marwan Seifeddine

Dr. Marwan Seifeddine is currently an Executive Director, Investment Operations and Marketing Department, of the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD). He joined the Islamic Development Bank in 1987 where he held the position of operations officer (1987 – 1988), operations division chief (1988 – 1993), director of Rabat Regional Office (1993 – 1998) and director of Department Operations and Projects II (1998 – 2000). He worked previously as an economist with Dar Al-Handasah Consultants - Shair & Partners (1978 – 1987) and as a lecturer in mathematics of the Lebanese University (1974 – 1978). His experience includes, economic feasibility studies, transport studies, regional and urban planning, financial analysis and project appraisal. He has also represented IDB on the Board of companies in North and West Africa.

Dr. Seifeddine, a Lebanese national, has worked and lived in Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Morocco. He holds a Doctorate Degree in Mathematics from the University of Paris XI (Orsay) and a Masters Degree in Economics from the American University of Beirut.
