Mr Massood Saffari

Mr Massood Saffari has broad experience in the IT domain. He is a consultant to many large IT, Internet, communication and electronics issues and projects in Iran. He is also a member of the Board and special IT projects coordinator in Data Processing Iran Company and founder and head of the second high speed Internet link project of Iran in DPIRAN. Mr Saffari is member of the Board in Electronics Support Fund for research and development of IRI, consultant of IT investment projects in Iran Foreign Investment Company and sponsor and coordinator of Iran Software Industries Promotion project in Ministry of Industries and Mines of IRI, center of new technologies.

Mr Saffari was the founder and head of the first high speed Internet link project in Iran in the Institute for Studies in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics of IRI, secretary of High Council of Informatics, chief editor of Informatics newsletters and consultant to the deputy of Informatics in Plan and Budget Organisation.

Mr Saffari, an Iranian national, holds a Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering from Tehran University in Iran, and a Masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA.
