The Fund invested a total of USD 1.1 million in Promedia (USD 0.5 million disbursed to date) representing a 31.25% stake in the company. Injazat invested alongside partner company Omnix Media Networks (in which Injazat invested in 2003) in Promedia to enable it to carry out expansion plans in the Middle East. Promedia is a specialist in the audiovisual systems, special lighting, data networking and integrated systems installation sector. The Fund is looking to capitalise on its investment through the proposed merger between the two entities (Promedia and Omnix Media Networks). The merger will allow Promedia to complement the services and operations of Omnix Media Neworks, provide additional personnel and expand the operations of the combined entity across the Middle East.

Promedia Systems was established in 1999 in Dubai, UAE, on the back of its predecessor Gearhouse Systems. Based in Dubai with regional offices in Doha and Riyadh, the company was able to build a brand name in the market and has become well known for its high quality services and experienced staff.
